There are many reasons to decide to run a half marathon. You may have decided to lose weight. It may be the natural progression in your running career. Maybe someone dared you to do it or you’ve temporarily lost your sanity. Or maybe you just want to prove to yourself that you can do something that seems impossible.
When you make the decision to put you first at any part of the day, you feel empowered and in control of your life. It is important to find ways to feel like you are still in charge of your life. Running can be that outlet for you and may even be the gate to you reaching your happiest and healthiest self now as a road warrior.
